How can I get to know the association?
If you are interested in joining N.S.R.V. Jolly Jumper, you can get a first impression by joining a trial lesson at the stables. During the trial lesson you get to know the members of the association, you see the stables where the association lessons take place and the members present can tell you everything about the association. It is only possible to make use of a trial lesson once. Unfortunately it is not possible to participate in activities as an introduction. As a member you can fully enjoy this!
How can I ask for a trial lesson?
If you are interested in joining N.S.R.V. Jolly Jumper, you can get acquainted with the association by participating in a trial lesson. By emailing the association secretary you can arrange a trial lesson.
What do I need for a trial lesson?
If you don’t have your own riding cap and boots yet, you can borrow some from the stables.

Is it a problem that I do not speak dutch?
Not at all! We try our best to share all information in both languages. Almost all activities are possible without speaking or understanding dutch.
What is mandatory in the association?
Nothing is mandatory! You can decide for yourself how much time you spend with us!
Do I need to participate in all the weekly lessons?
No! You can if you want, but it is not mandatory. Every two weeks you can sign up for one or two ridinglessons. So you choose when you can and how often you ride! If you can’t for a month or two it’s no problem either.
How much does the membership cost?
Per academic year the membership fee is €20. Do you register after April 1? Then you pay €10,- for the remaining academic year. Your registration date is valid for the membership fee.
How can I become a member?
By registering via the registration form and transferring the contribution to IBAN: NL75 INGB 0002 047407 to N.S.R.V. Jolly Jumper stating your first and last name and contribution study year. For example Sander de Vries 2024-2025.
When can I become a member?
All year long! You are always welcome to sign-up! The amount of contribution depends on when you sign up.
Do I get to know other members easily?
Depends on how active you are with participating in association classes, activities and get-togethers. The threshold is low of all association activities, so everyone feels welcome!
What activities can I do with Jolly Jumper?
The association has weekly association lessons at Manege de Veerkracht in Heumen. There are opportunities for all levels. In addition, the association organizes at least one horse-related activity every month, a social activity and a drink at the local pub Bascafé/ Café de Fuik. What you participate in as a member is entirely up to you.
How does the subsidy for association classes and activities work?
As a member, you will receive reimbursement of subsidies at the end of the academic year. The treasurer of the board and the treasurer of the activities committee keep track of these subsidies. You will be notified of this automatically by the board treasurer.
